Welcome to the Show
Welcome to the wild world of the Free Form Rock Podcast, where we embrace every riff, solo, and scandalous hairdo from the glorious era of rock! If you’re a purist, a metal elitist who believes that any sound that isn’t an 8-minute guitar solo is akin to sacrilege, then this is your warning: you might want to turn down the volume and stick to your ‘perfect’ playlist filled with only the heaviest and most obscure bands that your no-caffeine diet can handle. Here, we celebrate everything from shaking your head to classic rock anthems to moshing like a maniac at a metal concert! We love all the forms of rock—classic, metal, and everything in between. So, if your idea of a good time is debating over which band had the best leather pants, you’re in for quite the ride! Sit back, relax, and remember: we don’t take ourselves too seriously—because if we did, we’d be stuck in the ‘70s, arguing over whether Led Zeppelin was better than Black Sabbath while wearing questionable platform shoes. Join us as we rock out the way rock was meant to be—loud, unapologetic, and just a little ridiculous! Tune in, turn it up, and let’s jam through the delightful chaos of our favorite tunes together!

Triumph - Allied Forces
On this episode, we are accompanied by Eric "RMCP" Jordon to talk about an album that inspires two of us to talk about the feelings associated with it. One could say this is the emotional episode. We also talk about other subjects of current interest. Our tracks of the week are Lizzy Borden's "Voyeur (I'm Watching You)", Angel's "Rock & Rollers" and Mandalaband's "Determination." We close with Lee's song, "Eating Cheese." Have fun listening.

Our tracks of the week are Crossbreeze's "There Once Was" and Jackson Browne's "Boulevard." We close the show with Lee's song "Don't Let Me Hound You (When You Fall A Sheep).." Take care, stay groovy, drink your favorite drink, kick back, be cozy and groove to our review.. Cheers!

Doug and the Slugs - Cognac and Bologna
In this episode, we review the first album by a Canadian band that is a bit obscure now (at least in the United States) but is interesting and we have some interesting things to say about the band. Our tracks of the week are Climax Blues Band's "Champagne & Rock and Roll" and Joe Walsh's "Indian Summer." We conclude with a song Lee did called "Strange Bays." (Ask Lee what he meant when he did it.) Cheers, everybody.

This is the second studio album by a group that one of us never thought he would ever have to review. Our tracks of the week are Eddie Money's "Take Me Home Tonight" and Ted Nugent's "You Make Me Feel Right At Home." We conclude with Lee's song "I'm No Longer Your Log." Stay cool, everyone. Earth Quake
We review an album that is unfortunately obscure even though it should be more well-known. A lot of this music goes unnoticed because it doesn't get re-released. Well, we do our part to resuscitate it if we can do so. Our tracks of the week are Todd La Torre's "Hellbound And Down" and Budgie's "Breadfan." We close with Lee's song "Dress Up." Cheers, everybody!

Doobie Brothers - What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits
On this episode, we review an album that is famous for one song but we talk about way more than that song only. It's retro time for us, in a sense. Kick back and enjoy our fun bantering. Our tracks of the week are Chicago's "Wishing You Were Here" and Peter Frampton's "Alright". Our closing track is Lee's song "Honky Tonk Disco." Go to your used record stores, find something you never heard before, buy it and enjoy! Cheers, everyone.
